BEWARE THIS EBAY SCAM:

There is an eBay seller that goes by a couple id's, mainly "ALL*MY*MICS" and "1UNLUCKYONE"....This guy is selling 2 dollar tin lamp bases as vintage and antique microphone bases/stands at premium prices. He also takes cheap 2 dollar wooden craft rings and makes suspension microphone copies and sells them as antiques as well at premium prices. If by chance you have bought one of these and thought you were getting an authentic vintage/antique microphone, well, I do sympathize with you.

If you want an old antique or vintage mic/stand and like to hunt eBay for them, I would advise you to steer clear of this, or simply ask plenty of questions regarding item authenticity BEFORE making that purchase. A little effort on your part will pay off in the long run if you plan on using eBay to purchase these old relics.
